3. Align on Shared Metrics
Success can’t be measured in isolation. The PM helps the team define a unified set of KPIs that span all functions:

  • UX: user satisfaction and trust

  • Legal: compliance, audit readiness, and privacy protection

When all three metrics improve together, the product scales safely.

4. Involve Legal Early

AI work is full of uncertainty. Teams must feel safe to raise concerns—technical, ethical, or user-related—without fear. The PM sets that tone.
